This is a great photo workshop for anyone just starting to get to grips with their digital camera. I aim to explain in layman terms how your equipment works and give you the confidence and knowledge to get off the auto setting in order to progress into the creative world of photography. Shutter speed, aperture, ISO, histograms, focus, composition and exposure will all be explained together with the setting up of your camera to suit your needs. I nearly always find some useful hidden features that you didn't realise your equipment had and you should also gain an insight into some of the techniques I use that place the subject in front of the lens.
The one to one for beginners course can be held at any time of year at whichever location is working best at the required time. This could be workshops number 3 or 7 or another species/location if that is working better. I will always give you the choice of subject but the important element is having subjects in front of the camera to enable you to put theory into practice. Whilst this may involve sharing a hide with other photographers you will get my full attention as a one to one participant.
